Mostly the students who enrolled in CBSC affiliated schools can only emerge for AISSE in class 10 th and AISSCE in class 12 th examinations. Caste doesn’t the matter here i.e. students from any creed, caste, religion, economic background, gender, tribe or race can appear for these exams. For NET students who have their master degree in humanities, social science etc from a UGC recognized university with minimum aggregate of over 55% and 50% for those who belong to a non-general category can apply for the test as per CBSC rules.
In India almost every city has at least one CBSC affiliated school which you can know just by using the CBSC school directory. Most reputed school chains like Delhi Public School makes sure that every branch should be CBSC affiliated. Every Kendriya Vidyalayas which comes under central government schools of India is also CBSC affiliated. Mostly all the best schools are affiliated to CBSC in India.
