There are nearly 1200 colleges in India, offering LLB. It also includes top national universities, such as Symbiosis Law School, BHU, Delhi University, etc. The LLB course syllabus has subjects, such as family law, criminal law, international law, etc. However, besides the theory studies, there are internships, moot court sessions, and seminars as a major part of the curriculum. LLB subjects are interesting and interactive.

Eligibility criteria

  • Graduation in any discipline is the minimum required qualification.
  • 45% aggregate is the requirement as to minimum marks.
  • Admission Process

  • For the LLB 3-year course, completing graduation and having 45% aggregate marks is mandatory.
  • There is an entrance exam by NLUs or from private universities.
  • Relying on the entrance exam scores, there is a final selection of applicants as per the merit list.
  • Some private universities offer to LLB program direct admission to candidates completed graduation.
  • Students can pursue LLB after completing their XII, or higher secondary education. They can choose any course, BA LLB, BCom LLB, BBA LLB, or BSc LLB. These are 5 years of courses as integrated courses.

    You can join after class X11, the score should be 45% at least, and there is a need to qualify the LLB courses entrance test. A graduate already can pursue LLB for 3 years on qualifying the entrance exams. In India, pursuing LLB courses has no age limit.

    What are LLB subjects?

    The LLB subjects include Family Law, Banking and Insurance Law, Constitutional Law, International Economic Law, Human Right Law, Private International Law, Election Law, Environmental Law, etc.
