NDA Full form , What is the Full form of NDA?

Full form of NDA is National Defence Academy. Those who want to serve the nation and want to join Indian army; Indian Navy or Indian Air Force must clear NDA. This an exam held by UPSC.

Eligibility criteria for NDA

Aspirant should be unmarried.

For Indian army aspirant should be 12 th  pass out from any stream.

Those who want to join Indian Air Force and Indian Navy should have mathematics and physics as subjects in 12 th .

Aspirant should be physically fit.

Candidate should have a minimum of 157 cm height.

Aspirant should 16.5 years to 19 years. Candidate must check the UPSC website.

How to Prepare to Clear NDA Exam

Make a proper timetable for preparing for NDA exam. Give more time to those subjects in which you are weak and make a good practice to become strong in Mathematics. Candidate should study from best books. They can take help of
internet for study material and also should solve previous year exam papers. This practice will help them to get a good idea of exam pattern and they can prepare themselves to set up a time limit for each question during exams.  This will help them to finish the exam within time and that too without much stress.

How to join Indian army, Indian Navy and Indian AIR Force after NDA exam

1. After 10 th exam student who wants to go for NDA should take science with mathematics subjects. Strong command on these subjects is needed for the Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. For the Indian army, they can go for any stream. The student must score at least 60% in 12 th board.

 

2. Student can fill the form before the final board exam and can give exam before results but if they clear the exam they need 12 th board mark sheet. This exam is conducted by UPSC every year. They take these exams twice a year. These exams are conducted in April and September. Form to fill for entering NDA exams are out in June and December. Thus those who are willing to go in any of the Force should keep an eye on these two months for the form. You can fill the form through UPSC website online portal.

 

3. After clearing NDA exam candidates are called for SSB interview. Under this they take several types of tests, for example, physical test, Aptitude test, GD i.e. group discussion round and personal interview. Candidate has to clear all these tests.

After clearing all these test candidates have to go for training for the selected section and post. Those who selected army has to go for 3 years NDA training and 1 year at IMA, those who selected Indian Navy to go for 3 years NDA training and 1 year for training at the naval academy and those who select Indian Air Force go for 3 years NDA training and 1 ½ year at AF Hyderabad. After clearing all these trainings you can become a party of proud and respectable posts in the Indian army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
